We offer pre-made ready-to-ship pieces in our store, and also provide the option to customize many of the pieces in the store.
For the Martin Bench series and other pre-designed pieces, the most frequent customization requests are for color and/or the dimensions. Feel free to ask for other modifications.
In addition to the pre-designed pieces in the store, we create fully custom pieces for our clients based on their wants and specifications. The studio is happy to create something completely new just for you.
Any of the pieces located in the portfolio section of our site can be replicated or fully customized to meet your needs.
The first step in ordering a custom piece is to reach out to us, either by using the contact form on this website, by giving us a call at 917.841.5915, or email at martin@zelonkystudios.com, and let us know what you are looking to have made.
When discussing your project, please be prepared with criteria such as dimensions, finishes, etc.
We are always happy to collaborate in helping to develop the overall finished design.
A customized invoice detailing the specifics of the piece will be created for you prior to the commencement of work.
All pieces require a 50% deposit.
Customization requires some patience. Depending on what is currently being worked on in the shop and the complexity of your project, a piece can generally require between 4-12 weeks for completion.
Should custom colors be required, a Pantone TPG sheet or multiple TPG sheets are supplied by the client. Samples are produced matching clients desired Pantone which are then mailed for approval. Once approved, confirmation is provided.
Samples are Fed Ex‘d back and forth at customers expense. Each sample is billed at a nominal cost and added to the invoice.
All shipping costs are added to the invoice once the method and final destination have been determined.
We have established partners to handle shipping / delivery, but are willing to work with you to make sure the chosen method meets your needs.
Picking the piece up at the studio in Connecticut is perfectly fine and can be arranged.
